Many Indian cricketers to break the record in WC 2011


Sachin Tendulkar will break the record of playing highest no. of ODIs when he will enter the ground for playing against Bangladesh in the opening match of India in the world cup 2011. Presently Sachin is sharing this record with Sri Lankan batsman Sanath Jayasurya by playing 444 ODI cricket matches. With this opening WC match of India, Sachin will also equal the record of former Pakistani cricketer Javed Miyadad by playing six World Cup tournaments in a row. Apart from Sachin, Harbhajan Singh has acquired 11 wickets in 12 matches of the World Cup, but he is just four wickets away from reaching the mark of 250 wickets in ODI cricket. M.S. Dhoni is also very close to complete 6000 runs in ODI and Yuvraj Singh also has the opportunity to complete his 8000 runs in ODI matches.

Mercedes Benz will soon launch its motorbike

The famous luxury car manufacturing company of Germany 'Mercedes Benz' will soon enter into the field of motorbike production. For this, the company has already signed a deal with the motorbike manufacturing Italian company 'Ducati'. 

The interesting fact in this is that the promoters of Mercedes Benz started the production of vehicles in 1985 with two wheeler models only, but after a little time company stopped the production of two wheeler vehicles. Now, after 125 years the company has once again decided to enter in the field of two wheeler production.

It has been known that the company got influenced from its competitive company BMW to enter in this field. The French company 'Reno' has also launched its two wheeler vehicles in the market. So, Mercedes now feels that this sector has great opportunities.


Ola Kaellenius, who is the president and CEO said that after a deal with the Ducati motor holdings both the companies will make wonders in the market together. Both the companies have similar price policies too and this deal will provide new customer groups to them. He also told that they will be launching a luxury motorbike
soon.

Insurance of Rs 246 Crores has been done for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Mumbai. The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has insured the organization of the world cup with a huge amount of 246 Crores due to security purposes and other reasons. The board has made this decision of insuring the ICC cricket world cup 2011 with such a huge amount in order to escape out of any emergency or  terrorist activity which may occur during the program. The senior executive of the national insurance company told that due to this insurance, bad weather or any other reason which may cause a match to be abandoned will not cause any loss to the BCCI.

IIT Madras made its server, free download study material

IIT Madras has made such a server from which the students of science and mathematics will be able to download study materials for free. This server will help the national program on technology enhanced learning (NPTIL). This program is conducted by IIT MADRAS and IICS. The human resource development minister, Kapil Sibal told that this server is a new discovery and is one of a kind. He further told that the students will get huge benefits from this. Till now the students of science and mathematics used to take the help of Google or Amazon for study material. The director of IIT Madras, M.S. Anant told that in the first phase, this server will contain 125 courses in web formats and 135 courses in video format.

IIM Bengaluru will not increase its fees


Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru (IIM-B) will not increase the fees of its two year post graduation program. In the meeting of the IIM board, a decision was taken which stated that for the session 2011-12 the fee structure will be same as before and there will be no further amendments. Presently, the institute charges Rs 13,00,000 for the two year post graduation program. Before this decision, the Human Resource Development Ministry (HRDM) appointed a 3 member committee for the inspection of the fees of IIM-B. The institute approved the recommendations of the committee. This meeting was governed by the chairman of the IIM-B 'Mukesh Ambani'. The meeting also involved discussions which were related to similar issues.

Lindsay Lohan to start a boutique with her mother Dina


Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is planning to start a fashion boutique with her mother Dina in New York and California.

According to the website 'femalefirst.co.uk', both Lindsay and her mother have a keen interest in fashion world and they both are very excited about their new project.

24 year Lindsay is fully concentrating on her two upcoming fashion stores. Recently Lindsay was accused for stealing jewelery. Due to this incident, she was not allowed to travel anywhere. As soon as this travel penalty will get removed, she will once again start the work on her boutiques.
